Received a call this morning from this unknown number she asked for Selena I said no u have the wrong number and she asked if the woman of the household available name Selena I said no she said I called back at bettrr time I have a message for her.
Received a call first from 469-795-7042 which I missed. I called back as soon as I noticed missed call and it was a recording saying the survey I was trying to participate in had already expired. The second I hung up the phone I began getting calls from 469-440-9997. Three in a row so far because I'm rejecting the calls.
Received call around 10:30am, answered. Woman asked for another person, advised her she had the wrong number. She continued and stated that I may be able to help...began with script about needing a one time donation for breast cancer. Asked if she could mail the info. I told her she could send it, but no guarantee I would be able to donate. She then explained the only way she could mail out the info is if she had a promise from me for the donation. I asked her not to send and ended the call. Sounds like a scam to me.
They call a random number and ask for a random person. You say, "sorry wrong number", then they say, "Oh, well maybe YOU can help me then", and they proceed to the sales pitch for a donation.
