This is a tele marker who called twice. The first time "Glenn" called, he said it was regarding solar energy. I told him we aren't interested. The second time (several hours later) he called and I recognized his voice and once again he said his name was "Glenn". I told him that I already said we weren't interested and he said "No no you are wrong, I'm calling from a mortgage broker". I told him to never call us again and he hung up on me. Total scam.
I received a call from this number, showing "LOCAL RANKING" on the caller ID. Not recognizing the number, I let my answering machine pick it up, but no message was left. This same caller ID has been used with at least one other number alleged to originate from Texas, and people reported that the caller was offering to refinance mortgages or student loans. According to CallerComplaints.com, 469-270-7068 is a spoofed number.
Phone rang @ 7:52PM- said local ranking which doesn't even make sense. Anyway I answered & got a taped message-man speaking-due to high crime in our area we qualify for security system to be installed free----imagine- free that's what he said. Press 1 to accept & press 2 to stop calls----remembering posts on here that the 3's tell them its live phone # so i just sat & let message repeat 3 times & pushed NOTHING. Finally they gave up & ended call. The voice to press 2 was different than rest of message. Both male but press 2 voice was deeper more base sounding. Other than initial hello i said nothing & hung up after them. Suppose they'll make a hobby of calling over & over.
Didn't get to answer the call because I wasn't home. In the past I received hundreds of calls trying to give me a FREE alarm systems. This is probably the same company they just changed their name and number. If they were a legitimate company they would NOT of called since I'm on the don't call registry.
The area code 469 is one of three area codes for Dallas Texas.
Left a recorded message saying I qualify to receive a free OnStar Security System Package in my home if I am willing to display a small sign. Who would buy a home security system from a robo-caller?!?!? Sorry, Charlie, I have ADT.
