Received an automated call from this number. Without telling me what they are calling about asked for my personal information. I hang up the call and tried to call back the same number to find out who they are. Call did not go through. system just hangs up the call automatically. Tried several times, same problem. I was just approved for an MRI. My doctor's office called me and informed me. I don't know why these people which I assume from other reports on this page, could be United Health Care or Oxord, none of them by the way are my insurance company, call me. They are obviously monitoring all these approvals and call the people but for what purpose, I don't know. Puzzled????????????????
Left message on my answering machine that the procedure was approved with no other information. I do have united health and my spouse is going to have testing next week being just discharged from the hospital so I assume that is what the message is about. Most likely legitimate. I guess with all the patient confidentiality laws they can only leave so much info.
United HealthCare letting me know my CT Scan Pre-Authorization had gone through so now it was safe for me to schedule the appointment. Unfortunately, your "call type" drop down list doesn't contain "Safe Call" so I went with Event Reminder since I can now schedule my event.
