They called my house early this morning and left a lengthy message stating that my pre-authorization had gone through. Problem is that no one in my family has United Health care.
I did not answer because I did not recognize the number from Texas. But a voicemail was left saying that I was authorized for a medical procedure. Seems legit because they had my name and insurance company correct and I have requested a procedure.
I receive many phonecalls from unknown numbers. This was another I didn't answer. But now that I read these other comments, this was a call I was waiting for from UnitedHealth Care to find out if my MRI is approved.
