this group calls my home phone two to four times a day ...never leaves a message ...as soon as I see the 469 prefix on the call, I do not answer ...I answered once (November 2011) and told the "barely English-speaking" solicitor, I was not interested...this has not discouraged them ...they call and call thinking I may have somehow changed my mind ...
the line that ABBA gets through on is a bare-bones phone line that has no features like "call block"..
it really aggravates me that I have to subscribe to features and pay for those features to keep these companies at bay ...because of what they do in circumventing my wishes by continued calling, I would never purchase their product under any circumstance or price

These people are irate because their phone numbers are being used as a trash can, to somehow, sell this insurance you mention.
You ramble on and on about the money you will save everyone but are missing the entire point. We merely are asking that you do not call time and time again the same numbers over and over, continually hanging up or ask what insurance we have etc.
We do not need your thoughts on the insurance industry and how your products are better than everyone else. We just need you to stop calling....plain and simple.
Don't even bother saying it is not you who is making these calls, you are wasting your breath, just as with the non profit definition you give above, just ask the IRS they will tell you what a non profit is. STOP the dam calls......PERIOD
Calls continue to this day. What is ironic is that to find this site he HAD to search for something derogatory associated with his company. I just Googled 4694420677 and got this site. His phone number (303.931.8074) hasn't been turned on since he posted the above message, it goes straight to his voice mail.
Some people will just never get it!
At least we all now know better than the "Unknown Name" that shows up on caller ID when this number calls. He readily admits it all above. Go figure. I think I will give him a ring now. I will remember to star 69 my call to eliminate any call backs. Kinda like a number that has been disconnected except you are unable to return this call.

....................... then I introduced them to my NEW FRIEND......a 115 decibel air horn purchased from a boating supply house just 5 days ago! I have never had so much fun and would recommend this to anyone wanting to get back at these people. I can only imagine what this thing sounds like one inch from the mouth piece of my phone! The one I bought is refillable and came with it's own small hand pump....total price for this was 32 dollars. You also have the option of filling it with any air compressor....I just LOVE to carry this baby home to recharge with my home compressor to around 100 psi.
These people have called me time and again on my business line. I have had no dealings with them and owe no one a dime. I can only hope that they had as much fun as I did.
Call your Attorney General or pay a lawyer if you must. Or you could re-register with the do not call list again, or maybe file a complaint with the FTC or the do not call registry. I just can't help to think that most of the people here would have more fun doing things the right way, as described above. I am not rich by any means but this purchase paid for itself on that one call alone.
I printed a list of all the out of state numbers that pester me OVER AND OVER, and reach for my "new friend" about 5 times each day! I am willing to bet if they are capable of removing my number they do so after only "one meet and greet" I have read about using a whistle but not too sure about that method. I absolutely guarantee that their head set flies off with my method and they can't hear for 10 minutes afterward.

It has now been about thirty days since my boat horn purchase. This week alone I have had only 4 phone calls that were from telemarketers. It appears that my plan is working and working well. It seems that the hard core people are with these telephone yellow page add schemes, I had to introduce them to my "new friend" once yesterday! Just wanted to post an update.
