This company uses a computer generated call system that states if you are not "so and so" to hang up. They then call back the next day and keep calling. If you hold trying to speak to someone they disconnect you. If you call back like I did trying to inform them that the "so and so" they are looking for does not reside here you will get transferred around, and eventually disconnected. You cannot speak to any intelligible life form at this place to inform them that the "so and so" they are looking for does not live at your number. They'll say they will transfer you ,but you get put into a call dump that eventually disconnects the call. They will even lie and try to intimidate you by saying they will transfer you to their security department.
They yell and try to talk over you on purpose and if you manage to yell louder than them, (oops) they send you to the call dump that disconnects your call. They do not give their name and will not give you any information as to who they represent.
The only thing I know to do at this point is pay the fee for call block and keep them from dialing your number.
About 15 years ago my credit card was stolen and charged up for over 5K. After trying to explain it to Citibank I needed a police report and a statement under oath to get them to realize they screwed up. It never showed up on my report or as late. BUT, Citibank didn't want to leave empty handed so they sold the note to a collector and the trouble has been passed on ever since.
THIS collector is one of the worst because they won't give me the address to send my information or even dispute anything. They also call my aged parents and threaten them. call my friends, call distant relatives you name it. This company HAS TO BE fully aware that I don't owe the money, that's why they harass everyone without giving details of how to contact them..
This number keeps calling my work. I have asked numerous times and they refuse to tell me who they are or what exactly they are collecting for. They are rude and extremely persistent. I have never owed this company money and now my employer thinks that I have debt collectors calling me at work!
A female left a message claiming she was with "the office of Sun Maryland Parker" and the area code is Texas. I never give out my phone number to retailers for coupons etc. I was caught off guard the other day and gave it to Victoria Secret and soon I started getting phone calls. They say they don't give out or sell your number which we all now know is a lie. Give them your old number if you remember it.
