I literally just got this new home phone # through Frontier/Verizon FIOS, and had not shared my # with anyone. Within 1 to 2 days I was receiving call after call from a handful of different #s. Seems like Frontier/Verizon FIOS has some explaining to do? I plan to block the number also.
I keep getting this call from Tankstar. I've even tried to answer it just out of curiosity but 1 ring and they hang up and are gone. Probably some phone bot.
I got a message on my TWC app that this number called my home phone. The caller ID came up as TANKSTAR USA as others have already pointed out. I do not know this company and the number is a Texas area code, specifically DFW area, but a quick search shows this to be a trucking company based in Milwaukee, WI. I could not answer as this happened while I was at work. This is not specific to AT&T as I have Time Warner/Spectrum for my home phone service, but I have a VOIP line rather than hard land line.
I just received a call and finally answered, a guy asked for me by Last Name and proceeded to hang up. I called back and there is a woman's voice asking to "place a sign in your front yard and you can receive a free alarm system installed TODAY". It does offer to have your number placed on their do not call list
