I literally just got this new home phone # through Frontier/Verizon FIOS, and had not shared my # with anyone. Within 1 to 2 days I was receiving call after call from a handful of different #s. Seems like Frontier/Verizon FIOS has some explaining to do? I plan to block the number also.
I literally just got this new home phone # through Frontier/Verizon FIOS, and had not shared my # with anyone. Within 1 to 2 days I was receiving call after call from a handful of different #s while I wasn't home. I didn't realize until they called at 8pm when I was home. I answered and they asked "is this (my name)". I asked who is this and the line disconnected, only to receive 2 more calls from 2 different #s within the next 6 minutes. That's when I blocked all incoming calls as I don't even use my home number. But how did they know my name within 24 hours of install and I hadn't shared my number with anyone? Seems like Frontier/Verizon FIOS has some explaining to do?
