Not really understanding the source of your ire, but you may want to check your facts. According to the Electronic Code of Federal Regulations at ecfr.gov Title 47, Part 64, §64.1200 Delivery restrictions:
"(6) Maintenance of do-not-call lists. A person or entity making calls for telemarketing purposes must maintain a record of a consumer's request not to receive further telemarketing calls. A do-not-call request must be honored for 5 years from the time the request is made."
So I been getting so much calls from this number 465-458-1204 and when I pickup that guy say that he is calling from a pharmacy about some kind of medicine that I had never heard of. I told him that he got the wrong number and for him to stop calling my phone and he say OK I'll put your number on the do not call list...a day later that stupid guy call again. I pick up and told him right away that he got the wrong number so for him to stop calling my phone and he say "I didn't even say whose I'm calling for an how do you know that I got the wrong number?" I told him that I been getting so much calls from them and I keep on telling him that he got the wrong number so many time so of course I know that he got the wrong number. He say " can I at least said the person name first?" So I say to him "okay , who are you calling for?" He say this weird name to me and I told him that its not me and I don't know anyone by that name. He say "you say that you're not a cialis but I'm sure you are a cialis you sound just like a cialis." Okay??? What the heck is a cialis??? Stupid guy! Stop calling me! Its annoying. By the way he sound like he is India or something. Its annoying how I get more then 2+ call a day from this stupid number and each time I pick up it the same person calling. How the heck do you get that dumbass to stop calling?!!
My phone allows me to block phone numbers so I keep blocking the numbers but they just use another. I string them along sometimes, just to take up their time. One I told them I wanted to buy Oxycodone, about 500 pills because I could sell them on the street for much more than they were charging. They gave me to a supervisor to complete the sale. when I told him I changed my mind he tried to give me a better price. I just hung up.
Onve they called me a [***].
I keep getting calls from a pharmacy company and when they ask if I mam taking Viagra I tell the, what I take or don't take is not their business and then they hang up. Very annoying and not sure why I a, getting their calls. It's 469-

I see I have company. I no longer take their calls as my phone's virus protection has a call blocker but it's still annoying that they call several times a day. Back when I answered their calls I told them I have never used them and never will, take me off their list. Nope, they still call. I've reported them to the DoNotCall list at least 4 times. I thought they were doing something because other callers like this stopped, but it's beginning to look like they don't do anything.
