Yet another "Rewards Hotline" number for a "free" Walmart gift voucher...They ask for a small shipping and handling fee for the "free" gift voucher, but all you will end up getting is extra credit card bills... PHISHING SCAM....IDENTITY THEFT...CREDIT CARD FRAUD.
"DID not ANSWER, someone needs to take care of these scammers one way or the other."
By "somebody", you must mean somebody other than yourself because you're not WILLING to answer calls yourself....look at all the lame posts here...What do you expect people to do with a post like yours? It does not provide any info we can use.
Answer the damn call, take info we can use against the scammer(s) and THEN block the number...post the info here for others to see, and file a complaint with the FTC/FCC...the point is to DO SOMETHING.
Missed call showed up on my cell phone (not many people have my number) on 11/11/15 @ 8:34. I NEVER call back numbers that I don't recognize. I feel that if it's important enough they will leave a msg. Should they do so I would still be skeptical. We can't be too careful these days!
2015-11-12 19:24H: I got a call from 469-458-1225. The caller ID simply read, "Dallas, TX." Deciding I could just block it later if necessary, I opted to go ahead and call back. I got a recording, "Hi! This is Julie from Reward Redemption! You recently visited one of our affiliate websites and, in appreciation... $100 reward card... Press "1" now..."
Yeah -- I blocked them and reported them to the DoNotCall.gov site -- not that it ever does any good. (I think that site was set up to give people something to do so they'd quit complaining.)
Received a call from 469-458-1225 at 1:17 P.M. (CST). Rang only once and was declared a missed call. Based on other people's responses, I won't call back and will simply block this number.
