CALLED FROM THIS NUMBER THIS MORNING AT 10.25 AM LEFT NO MASSAGE .I LET IT GO ON MY RECORDING MACHINE .THEN I CHECK IT IF IT IS FROM SOME ONE I KNOW OR CHECK IT ON MY COMPUTER . BEST WAY IS NOT TO ANSWER . GOOD LUCK...
Received a call from "Account Services" about 30 minutes ago. I never answer these calls. They are always scammers. One woke us up at 6 a.m. the other day. The number was blocked. The person on the other end was obviously from India. He said he was from Microsoft Tech Support and that we have a virus. He wanted us to turn on our computer so he could get remote access and remove the virus. First off, Microsoft Tech Support would NEVER call an individual like this unless the individual initiated the contact and asked to be called back. My husband said he didn't have time and asked for a phone number to call them back. They gave him 1-800-369-2468. If you look up this number, it too is a scammer. Beware! If you don't know someone, don't answer the phone. Then look up the number.
469-458-9075 called Weds. Jan. 7, 2015 at 4:10 showed no name on caller id didn't answer as i do not know anyone who lives in the 469 area code. And we get a ton of robo calls here in houston even with so called blocking devices in place.....
