Just received this call and apparently I "won" some scratcher that could yield me an Ipad or Iphone (Could not tell, strong accent) or $2500 in cash and all I had to do was answer three simple questions. Told them I was not interested and hung up.
When I received a call this morning from this number and with the name ALTAMONTS on my Caller I.D. I did not answer it, but came online to find out who it was. I came across this website and figured from some of the negative comments there had to be a better way to deal with this caller.
As expected, from reading your posts, I received another call from the same company and number. I answered with, "Federal Bureau of Investigation. How can I direct your call?"
I haven't received another call since and will continue to answer with the same message if they decide to call me on another day.
Have fun and mess around with them. They love it when you get angry - turn the tables on them! :)
Just got a call from this number but since I have a blocker the call cannot go through. I called back and got the recording that this number is NOT a working number... So you guessed it... it's a SCAM.
