If you'll would just check in to some things. You'd see what people can and can't do. A replevin order is a court order stating the collaterial must be surrendered back to the bank that is the lien holder. Alot of states issue a replevin order with a body attachment. This is a civil warrant of arrest. Many state have criminal laws concerning this. TX 32.33. FL 818.01. CA 504A. GA 16.9-51. MD 342.0. SC 16134C. AR 5-37-203. MS 11-5-75. And on and on. Look these penal codes up. This is considered LARCENY. Get your fact straight before calling people debt collectors. We are not. We do not collect a dime from anyone. We do the legal servicing. The bank HAS to be willing to file a replevin or claim and delivery. If they aren't then they merely amount to false threats made by an overzealous debt collector. Helpful tip: If you get this sort of call, then call your bank and ask them if they intend to "go legal" on you if you only pay what you can and see what they have to say. Most of these banks have collateral protection insurance which protects them from losses and what sleaze-bag companies like these do is a cheaper way of paying a deductible to an insurance company.
There who is nothign worse than a pissed off skiptracer who works for commission. They'll break every law written just to try and get even with you and get their $100 out of it.
To prove my point, I'll bet the next response encourages you to call your bank so they can close and bill on a locate.
Show me one case where that law has been exercised! Each and every time a cop is called to a repossession they say it's a civil matter and order the repo agent off the property. The only way that this law makes it in is when someonme doesn't turn a car over as part of a court order, and that's why there's bankruptcy.
