The area code is in my state , actually I could have use that area code. The number just listed that it was : The United States. I Didn't answer and they left no message.
More scammers trying to steal money from us old folks. Go get them and put them in jail.
These callers violate my right to privacy, harass and terrorize myself and others, illegally spoof their caller IDs and illegally call cellular phone numbers.
Filed the above complaint with the National Do Not Call Registry. Suggest others do likewise. They have the authority to take action and need the complaints filed in order to do so. Complaining here at 800notes.com will not result in action being taken.
No business if nobody's answering their calls, though. You're not required to answer your phone in any way, and if you don't know the number (even if it appears from nearby or same area code), play it safe and don't. Some clowns do enough homework to use local numbers to trick you into answering.
Got a call from this number. Caller ID said "NAME NOT FOUND". Definitely a scammer. I just added it to my Caller Block list on my phone. It holds up to 250 numbers. Here lately, I realize that I'm filling it up fast. If the number is in my Caller Block list, the next time they call, it never rings. If Do Not Call were to track them down, and put them out of business, they just go to another state, and open the business under a different name. Plus, with today's technology, they can also use call spoofing, where they place a call, using someone else's phone number. That makes it harder to track down the scammer. So, I just use my Caller Block to stop the calls. It's a never-ending battle.
This number and others may be associated with a company they identify as "Micro Clean" or "Micro Cleaner". There is a listing for a company with that name selling duct cleaning services. However, they are using multiple originating phone numbers and multiple spoofed caller ID names (NAME NOT FOUND, Wireless Caller, 4692891947). They never leave a voicemail message.
I'm not worried about it, and I'm certainly not going to bother filing any complaints. I solved that problem by the way I said and I don't get more than a handful of junk calls a week, if even. My landline number appears unappealing to pests anymore.
