HE IS ALSO A RUDE PRICK HE LEFT A MESSAGE ON MY HUSBANDS VOICE MAIL SAYING BASICLLY THAT HE OR WE WAS A DEADBEATS.\. IM SORRY BUT I WORK HARD FOR WHAT I GOT .I PAY MY BILLS. SOMETIMES MAYBE LATE BUT THAT DOESNT MAKE ME US A DEADBEAT. AND THAT HE WOULD CONTACT OUR NEIGHBORS TO GET A MESSAGE TO MY HUSBAND. WE LIVE IN TENNESSEE AND THIS MAN LIVES IN TX. I CALLED HIM ABOUT THE VOICE MAIL MESSAGE. I LET HIM KNOW THAT I DID NOT APPRECIATE IT AND THAT WE ARE NOT DEAD BEATS. HE ONLY KNOWS US BY WHAT ONE( OF HIS SO CALLED CLIENTS HAS TOLD HIM ) . I TOLD HIM I WAS GOING TO TALK TO A LAWYER MYSELF ABOUT THE SITUATION . BOY DID HE GET PISSED. HE TOLD ME TO GET MY A** OFF HIS F****** PHONE. AND HANG UP ON ME. NOT PROFESSIONAL .
they tried to call me a few times last week about a legal matter. got served tuesday on a lawsuit by their attorney. called to complain cause they never bothered to send me a letter. worked out settlement with them this morning and they're dropping the suit.

Had a message on my company's voice mail from someone using the name 'Jim Thompson' wanting to give me an opportunity to get a cheque in the mail today in order to prevent them from filing a lawsuit against our firm. No other ID given. I will NOT be responding... I looked up the phone number and (like you) verified this is some sort of scam.
The rudest man EVER! He said the call was about my son "Josh"... when I explained to him that I don't have a son named Josh, he said "Well you keep believing that" and hung up. I think I know the name of my own son!! WTH?!
Jim Thompson has called my business repeatedly even though we have no business dealings with him. He is abusive and rude and has been asked on several occasions to stop calling. He refuses to disclose the reason for his call.
