Received a call from "Mr. Gutierrez" - same old story, trying to collect on a phony debt from 10 years ago that never existed. SCAM. DO NOT PAY THESE LIARS ANYTHING!
Call is from CRS & Associates, apparently a debt buyer. Caller left a message claiming to be calling on behalf of an attorney, after a missed court date that resulted in a judgment. I am filing a complaint with the FTC, since this number is not listed with the company.
call from RJ I asked why he was calling he said i was a contact number. Told him he had wrong # and hung up
. Been getting all kinds of calls so I wont's give my name and tell them wrong # even when they ask for me.
Person 1st time call on my Company Cell --and asking my name. Did not receive any letter in mail or call before at my home. some type of scam ---holding my phone for 4-5 minutes & telling me that we looking your name for collection of Debts.
But they did not find the right name, unnecessary harassing. So I hang up the phone.
To me this is a on going scam please do not give attention'

Company left message that said " Complaint has been filed against your Social Security Number and yourself, call me back so that I can close this matter out in your favor"..........Sounds like Bull [***] to me......
It is BS. The old "Complaint filed against your ssn" is getting old and long in the tooth. There is so many of the threads running, mostly out of India (scam capital of the world) that my computer is starting to smell like a boiler room.
