Basically I have received the same calls as everyone else , threatening lawsuit, reporting to local county. I have a friend who works for consumer law firm and he said basically the same. These are scare tactics. These so called companies buy accounts for pennies on the dollar and call people and prey on them to basically extort money from them by any means. Report them to CFPB or FBI. My caller called herself Susan Hayward another deceased actress.
I would like to know why my telephone number was listed as a contact person when I was not aware of it. The person that they was trying to contact was killed December, 2013. If my telephone number was used I should know what reason it was used and without my permission. This person that is deceased was not anything to me, just someone I knew through my sister. I received two calls from a person at this number saying they will be filing chrges in county court soon but would like to talk to me to try and reconcile the issues? I've received nothing in the mail to this date. I do not want to be scammed, just looking for info on this.
This number isn't a Scam this company is a Mediation Firm looking to help individuals out with PDLS that they have taken out an breached contract its unfortunate that people take out internet pay day loans get free money an don't like to pay them back when the company hires another Company to help solve the issues.. Threatening arrest, pretending to be a state agency, etc. etc., are all illegal under both federal and state laws. But if I am wrong, then you could certainly post up the legal name and address of this legitimate company so that others could check them out to see if you are telling the truth about them.
