Guy said he was with Time Warner Cable but was not prepared for my questions about billing. After hanging up the caller ID said ALLIANCE HEALTH. Call the number back and you just get music
A lot recording stating trying to locate me due to some kind of matter that needs attention. Caller states that I will be located by state or local authorities and detained until further notice... No company was mentioned or contact to call back....
Caller ID Name = TIMEWARNERCABLE. I am an existing Time Warner customer. I picked up the call just as it was going to voicemail. The gist of the taped message was "Sorry we missed you. This call is from Time Warner for telemarketing purposes. If you want to unsubscribe from telemarketing calls press 7." I pressed 7 and another taped message said "Even though federal law allows us 30 days to remove you from our list, we will make every effort to remove you within 7 days. Good-bye."
These [***] telemarketers, scammers, collecting agencies, surveyors and other are using "nick" names of well known companies to extract information, verify the person's name and personal information. I must say that there is a Federal law protecting PHI and PII so if they got this information from you without your authorization you can suit these [***] sorry assess. However once they got the information you are lost. So NEVER EVER ANSWER THIS CALLS even if they have names of well known companies. Actually by default we block any call and we call back if it is a well known source.
