i thought i smelled a faker....now i found it yuck...stinks of idiocy and wanting attention

stated they were calling on behalf of time warner cable with special offers because my current offers/discounts were going to expire soon.  They had my name & address information.  Then he was "gathering the offers available in my area", but that took him over 3 min.  I researched the number while waiting, found it was a scam, and hung up.
