This is a collection agency that has bought debt from a creditor. I work at a huge call center and they call for our employees regularly. It is kind of fun to mess with them.
Received a call today from this number. The caller's name was Shawn from State Financial Investigation -a branch of federal crimes threatened me with legal actions and court cost for some bill I don't know.
Got a call from them today and I am extremely concerned as they have my name dob social security number and bank account number.Apparantly they have hacked into a payday loan companys files and got my info.. Called the company and made them aware, Have filed a report with my local police dept. Closed my bank account and contacted the credit bureas.. Dont really know what else to do...
Got a call ignored it then they got my mother's cell number and called her asking about information about me saying they were with us crime investigations and it would be in our best interest to contact them....wouldn't give a name just a the number 4696565990 and i called no answer i notified the payday loan company i used and am contacting the police
