Received call and voice mail from "Ms. White" on behalf of "Ms. Brooks" at x102 at 10:58 am EDST on 06/23/2017. Provided case number and requested immediate callback on legal case/law suit for outstanding debt. This is a false attempt to collect and possible phishing scam. Confirmed with credit bureau and credit report; zero negative issues and no outstanding debts are pending. Do not answer or call back. Block number and report to your state attorney general's office. No company or other identifying information was left. Another commenter mentioned caller ID as Affordix; however they are a telecom/data company and are not associated with this number or any debt collection organization.
Received a message on my cell phone with a Texas area code, stating that the county I live in filed a lawsuit against me associated with my social security number and quoted my last four numbers. Left a name of "Miss White" and a claim number stating I had 24 hours to call back. I haven't lived in Texas over 10 years and have no debt. Phishing SCAM. Beware...
Harassing phone calls in regards to a lawsuit & possible lien on my property. That a conviction of housing authority fraud is pending. I've owned my home over 15yrs. Never had HA. Hung up called my city they informed me it sounded like fraud to report number to local police.
