I answered because "THATS WHY I HAVE A PHONE" but mostly because I'm expecting a call from my daughter in the Air Force, being deployed over seas I never know what my caller ID will be. Anyway, they asked if I voted in the last election and I told them it was none of their business, they asked me to spell my very simple name, I also told them if they knew me they would know how to spell my name and hung up. It's so sad that I can't use my own phone without being blasted with call from God knows who! I hardly ever got a call until I placed my name on the so-called do not call list...!!!
The man said he was from a political pac and wanted to know if he could get a digital confirmation that they could call once a month to do a survey. He wanted me to say yes to his questions and when I questioned him on what PAC he was from, he put me on hold and hung up. I didn't give any personal info but feel this is a scam.
A new PAC Political Action Committee or scam? Received call from John (using VOIP sounding digital) that didn't know their headquarters address and only knew that they were called "informed Electorate" PAC and he was calling out of Murray Utah. Trying to ask if I was a registered voter but he has no idea about identifying himself or the organization he works for. Did a search and came up with two brand new scammer websites that of course are asking for donations and display the number to contact as 888-737-4838 Covered Bridge Rd, Artemas, Pennsylvania ref http://www.cjb.net/888/737.html The websites with limited contact information are http://www.informedelectoratepac.com/ and http://votethewill.org/
Don't know about you but for me these creeps would never receive any info or money from me.
