Last night I checked out AshleyMadison.com - the website for cheating spouses. I'm not married and never gave my bank info, but I signed up for a free account to see what the hoopla is about. What I found were literally thousands of profiles with a phone-number in place of a title. In every single example, the phone number was area code "469", which around Dallas. A bit of research showed me that Ashley Madison is a SCAM and their customers credit cards are dinked by charges from 469 phone #'s. My guess is that AM thinks you won't fight it too loudly since your spouse might find out! Also, they are a Canadian corporation so how are you going to get your money back?
Here is another mystery: each one of the numbers listed on AM profiles I looked up wasn't legit.
