I got scamed for a house for rent that was not by the person who.contacted me. This is the phone number of Rev. Edward Martin. When I contacted the realitor, Joy for the conditions of the rental she said it was never posted on hotpads.com leagally. It was a fraudulent post. The address for the home is 5319 Lanai ave. Long beach ca 90808. I am still receiving text messages from Rev. Martin trying to get me to rent from him, as his home. Please contact this guy to keep him from continuously ripping people off. What kind of man cheat! I spend the same thing yesterday! How do I report? I live in Florida and the man asked me a deposit of $1000 through money gram... DANGEROUS he said that name was Horance Odoms and lives in massachusetts and that only could happen to see the House for the part outside. He also sent me an email with a contract... beware.
This guy just tried to scam me for a $1000 deposit to western union for a house I am already talking to the real listing agent about. This person knows how to redirect a trulia or zillow search to his fradulent page and contact info which mirrors the legitimate home listing. Luckily, I am well aware of these predatory practices and called him out on it. He then stopped texting me to send money for the deposit.
