Local cops would arrest me and legal action would be taken on this case if I didn't call within 24 hours. Called me twice in one day leaving same robocall message.
I knew it was a scam but couldn't resist the urge to call back. I called the number back and the first person that I spoke to, I told him that I was reporting this phone number to the IRS Inspector General, He hung up immediately. BTW- he sounded foreign. He won't be calling me back anytime soon. SCAM
It's an auto-mated call, sounds robotic, but says that I will be taken by the "local cops". Who would even say that if it was something serious? This has to be a scam. I've received this message twice, once in a mans robotic voice and once in a woman's robotic voice. Who would fall for this??
Left a robot voicemail saying,(verbatim) "from the headquarters which will get expired in next 24 working hours. And once they get expired, after that, you will be taken under custody by the local cops as there are 4 serious allegations pressed on your name at this moment. We would request you to get back to us so that we can discuss about this case before taking any legal action against you. The number to reach us is 469-729-4905."
They called me today and told me that they were the IRS and that I owe back taxes.
I told him to call me back on my old cell phone I then gave them the number to the local FBI branch.
I called them back and ask them why they didn't call me on my old cell phone.
They told me to go [***] yourself and then they hung up.
That's the only way to stick it to them people that's the only way to stick it to them make them pay for the phone calls make them waste their money for the scams that they are trying to pull on people make them waste their time and money.
