This number just called the office. I make it a habit to not answer calls where the area codes are not local. They did not leave a message. Caller ID says Alicia McDowell.
Called asked for my first name and a different last name. Said it three times then spelled my the last name. I asked "who is this" and the guy spelled the last name. It was close to my last name (sounded like it) but not the same. He said he was terribly sorry to bother me. The caller seemed to have an Indian accent. Very weird.
This is just one more number used by the same people who claim to be calling from the "office of" @ LogRhythm, SafeNet, CheckMarx, Ziff Davis, Zilliant, LogiAnalytics, Jack Harris, Marketing 123, Veronis Systems and the list goes on and on.
These idiots are looking for IT people, and as of today, are calling from over 50 different numbers, which are spoofed.
They call my company at least 30 times a day, with a list of names, so I recognize their voices. The phone number changes each time, and its usually a man and woman tag team. They are dishonest and obviously up to no good. I've reported them numerous times, but they keep changing their numbers as soon as we block them. Its pretty hopeless, but I NEVER forward them to whoever they ask for. They usually hang up once I start questioning them!
