I visited a church last week for the first time and like most churches you are given a information card to fill out so they can contact you . There was also a section that asked me to tick if you need contact for prayer and so I did that. I was checking my voicemail and like all other missed call I decided to call back the number. I heard the recording asking if I needed prayer so I press 1 but only recorded my first nsme. The number they called me from is a number with my area code so I really thought it was the church I visited last Sunday. The part that had me wondering is the name of the church. So out of curiosity I searched for St. Mary's Prayer ministry and came across these feeds. The extent to which people go to scam others is ridiculous.

Nor have I. Most houses of worship have a great respect for privacy. Many faiths still follow the belief that anonymity has no bearing on Gods love. The old fears of persecution still exist & only a "fringe church" would say otherwise. Passing the plate is a time honored way for a congregation to support their church. When a church starts wanting names, info. & e-mail addresses, it's time to start looking for a new church.
Televangelists have been a plague upon the faithful for decades. Corporate Christianity is a hypocrisy that only the most foolish would stand behind. Now we're seeing tele-maggots trying to line their pockets under the guise of being believers. That's nothing new. Only the method of fleecing a flock ever really changes.
Gods love is felt in the heart. A church or cathedral isn't needed. A book is a luxury & formal prayers were written by man. Gods word was never written or heard. God is inside us &...God has no interest in a mans wallet.
