This number has called for the past 3 weeks. At first we picked up, but when we found no one on the other end, we started to just not pick it up. They have called at all times of the day, from about 12:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Very ANNOYED!
Ditto just about everything said by everyone else. Very tired of this. I wonder if this is some sort of sneaky research, trying to determine the times most people are at home, therefore the best times to call people - perhaps hired by telemarketers. Some posters have mentioned the Texas State Troopers - I have given to them, have received printed materials and a sticker for the car. I think they're legitimate, and this other outfit is hijacking their name.
