They called 5 times back to back when I was driving and I kept hitting ignore because I was driving. He said he was a private investigator trying to reach my brother and his wife about an urgent time sensitive matter. I asked what it was about and instead of answering me he started naming off family members who he has tried to call and how nobody would help out. I asked if this was a collection call? He said absolutely not and that he was doing an investigation that my brother supposedly asked him to start. ??!
He said he called his son who then blocked his number so he couldn't call back. I asked if this was a criminal matter and he said no he is not affiliated with any police dept. I then said I was not getting involved and he said then you are choosing to put your brother in harm's way.i hung up.
I recieved a call from this number saying they were private investigators looking to collect a debt on one of my family members. This person called my 79 year old father, upsetting him immensly, then called me trying to get personal information on the other family member. They have now called me 3 times, eventhough I'm not involved in the situation. My fathef has asked them to quit calling. We've told them they do not have correct information (without volunteering any additional information, just in case it's a scam call) bjt they just won't stop!
She said she was calling on a recorded line. Then she asked for someone who doesn't live here. I told her so and she wanted a contact number for this person or another person she could call. I gave her nothing. When I asked at the start of the call what her business was, she said it was a private matter. Highly annoying.
Caller was dave smith, looking for a lee gibson. Had mine & my husbands name even knew my grandmother's name. Said calling from a global investigation service from tx. Tried to call back was an automated form of answering said please leave a mesage.
