The card service scammers WILL 'service' our credit cards, BUT, when they finish 'servicing' them, they will have NO available credit remaining! People that are fooled into having their cards 'serviced' will be charged a MINIMUM of $795.00, and many times the ENTIRE amount remaining on the card. The card service scammers are a disgusting group of degenerates, who prey mainly on the low income, and the elderly, but will cheat anyone that they can!

Stange, the postings here say its the old "Hi, I'm Bridget, may I wipe out your life savings" call. But this time, I picked up, said hello(to trigger a response), but there was no speech. Shortly, they hung up.
When given the option, I always press "1" , to act as though I want to speak to an operator. But I put the phone down after pressing "1' & when an operator speaks, I let them go on, without a response from me. But, again, this time there was no speech at all.

This time there was no speaking, but generally, once I know its from these folks, I keep hitting "1" until it "takes", then set the phone down. Some operators will keep saying "hello" for a minute or 2. Some operators seem to know what I'm doing, & hang up pretty quickly. I know that my attempt at messing with them is lame, but what are the options?

I remember one time, I smarted off to a telemarketer. He told me he was gonna get even--he was gonna call nonstop for the next 15 minutes. He called twice more, each time it was clear to him that I was deriving great joy from it, insulting him. Finally, it was clear he was frustrated, & he gave up. I don't remember if it was this credit card scam thing or not. But its a way to deal with such calls. Of course, you've gotta be in the right mood to play the game.
