I just came home and picked up the phone... it was live... I have the ringer turned off. I was going to check for messages on the answering service and a voice said "hello"? I replied with my name and asked how I could help them... the first thing they said was " sir, are you represented by council at this time"??? WTF??? It is no wonder that I turn the ringer off with [***] like this calling.
They tried to ask me to provide my account number. I asked them for it and they gave my phone number. Then asked my security question. I declined and hung up.
