Again - after not having received calls from them for a few months, they started again and received a call from them 5 times yesterday - left no message. Ugh. Will not answer calls from unknown numbers
I just came home and picked up the phone... it was live... I have the ringer turned off. I was going to check for messages on the answering service and a voice said "hello"? I replied with my name and asked how I could help them... the first thing they said was " sir, are you represented by council at this time"??? WTF??? It is no wonder that I turn the ringer off with [***] like this calling.
An opening by a phony debt scammer. They want to make you think you owe money on some bogus loan you never took out. These are real crooks and since you only got the one call, ignore and block makes sense. They will call back, but calls are not legal notification. As soon as they understand you are not playing along, they will just move to the next person on their list. Check this link:
