I just received a call from a Ben Cox, then he says oh well he probably knows me better as Irby as if they were friends. Wouldn't leave a message with me either.. He's called a few times and isn't going to get through... Waste of everyones time.
Same routine as above. Irby Cox called trying to make it sound like he and our CEO were the best of friends. When I blocked his called and offered to take a message, I asked him the reason for the call he gave me a round-about line saying that he was just about to send him an email but it was very detailed and he wanted to talk to him first so as not to confuse him... which is basically sales pitch speak for "I don't want to tell you why I'm calling".
So I played along, wrote down his number and promptly tossed it in the garbage. I'm sure he'll call back... very brusque, rude-sounding man - you could tell he spends his day cold calling.
Chris Pringle called and asked for the owner by name. When I said he wasn't available, he said he'd call back later to which I replied, "Can I take a message?".
He gave me his name and number (469 916 4980) and said it was in regards to the project they are working on together. After googling the company, I don't think I'll pass the message on. It's for invesment opportunities.
