I just received a call from 469-919-5113 - a woman said she was calling on behalf of United Couriers about a "package". Further digging into this number came up with Hewitt Capitol, a collection agency. She asked if I was going to be home between noon and 4pm the next day (Thursday), I told her no. Then she asked "what about Friday?" I also said, no. She then said they would deliver the package to my place of employment and that my supervisor would have to witness the delivery. I asked if anyone would have to witness the delivery if it were at my home, she said no. Then why would anyone have to witness it at my work? She told me to stop asking stupid questions. I thought it was a pretty legit question! I told her to scam someone else and hung up on her. She then called my work and I let the call go to voicemail. She left the same information. I did some more digging and found this on the FBI's website:
Called my sister and stated that i added ger as a secondary person and that a pavkage would be delivered to my parents home, my old address. I called the # back. The lady stated that that she was from United Courier and that i would have to be at the house with my id to sign for the package. I asked from who. She stated Hewitt. I stated someone will be there, she was very persistent that only i can sign for it. I asked if i could pick it up. She stated that it can o ly be delivered. Im so happy i googled the number. I got all the info i needed
