Obscene phone call to my 13 year old daughter, very nasty and explicit language how do I stop this and report this person. It scared her, she is treated for severe anxiety and this really upset her and makes me very angry.
2/25/15; For two days starting at 5:30 am I have been receiving phone calls for loans. These numbers are calling every two hours up to the late of evening. As I blocked each call they would use another number finally calling from a line that provides no caller ID. I have asked kindly for them to stop, but they won't. I won't be nice in the future.
The numbers so far are:
512-782-9786, 512-862-7527, 470-206-0949, 972-925-1136, 786-377-5142, 630-448-7856, 254-252-5263, 310-846-8286, 909-931-4676, 904-971-2345,
512-782-9786 , 470-206-0949, and eight calls with no caller ID
I received a call also, Telling me they are GE Capital and I'm approved for a loan for 5000 please call 4702060949 and give us your personal information. Looking up this company the number is not with them. Scam
Both my husband and are getting barraged with calls on our cell phones telling us we owe thousands of dollars along with case numbers etc.. Then we get another call from a supposed processor who needs our address???? so they can serve papers on us??? What the heck??? Are u kidding me? There are so many scams out there and they are using dozens of numbers. When I try to call l them back it immediately hangs up. I know who I owe, and it's not them!!! I block them and they come right back on another number. They are never of American descent either!!!
This is a criminal extortion scam operating out of India. They are making the calls utilizing VOIP and the names of legitimate firms to make it appear the calls are originating from within the US. There is NO "company" or "debt" and you will NOT be arrested. They are harvesting and/or buying consumers' personal identifying information and you need to do whatever you can to protect yourself. This includes: Notifying the FTC: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/, placing fraud alerts with all three credit bureaus, notifying your bank and employer and letting these criminals know you are aware they are attempting to extort money for a non-existent debt and have alerted the authorities.
