I received a call last night at 10:45, (woke me up) from 478-257-9252 asking me questions about my relationshiip with a (man) friend. Said her name was Debra, 39, from Kennesaw, GA & was suppose to marry a friend of mine in about a yr. I hung up after talking a few minutes.
They just call and hang up all the time, It drives me crazy, I reported it and now it is being investigated from so many complaints, I guess they know what phone service these people have and are going down each person they have called and comparing it to reports....... Eww scary, they advised for us not to give any info, just hang up or block them from your phone if you can. been investigating for 8 months now!
Well I hope they get caught, I reported a lady also and when I did I seen that the report said the number was from MCI WORLDCOM COMMUNICATIONS INC, and they live in macon! I think they are about to get in trouble, good luck
My grandmother got one of these calls two days ago. Some man on the phone crying his eyes out, claming to be me and to be in serious trouble. Told her some yarn about how he (claiming to be me) picked up after work and flew to the Dominican Republic the day before with a friend and was in such serious trouble. I agree, Scary. Going after them throgh the police. Thanks for all of your posts. B/c of you I know to try to get at them through the phone company as well.
I keep getting these calls from 478-257-9252 and when I'm not home they call one right after another and keep calling.I have four or five in a row on my caller Id with one message all I can make out is it might be a debt collector. When I call the number back no one answers? When I answer the phone I can't understand what he wants, who he is, CAN SOMEONE HELP ME?
