I got a call last night 6/28/2008 about 8:15 PM. Message left on my answering machine, repeated three times. I don't have caller ID, so don't know the origin-number. I do have a Franklin Bank Visa debit card ... but the card is in my possession, not lost. The call can't be anything but bogus, any bank's security or customer service department should have a toll-free number. There's an 800-number on back of my card.
Recorded message said that our Franklin Bank Visa card had been suspended and that we should call the security department at that number. We do not have such a card. This was very wierd.
We received a call from the same number with a similar message. We also do not have an account with the back (1st National in this case). We are not going to call the number.
Just got a call; Caller ID said COLORADO CALL 720-204-1286; the recording said my Franklin Bank Visa Debit card had been suspended & to call the security dept. Like the other poster, Pamela, I do not have an acct. of any kind with Franklin. I'm not going to call the #, either.
