No ID, unknown number, called my land line, which I flip over to my cell. I DO NOT ANSWER unknown numbers. No message; typical SCAMMER technique. Blocked.
Follow-up. Number has called 4 times in less than 2 hours, the last 3 15 minutes apart. Blocked, but did leave a message the last time, something about "Pocket to find out if you qualify" - robocall too stupid to wait until outgoing message has completed before starting to leave message of its own. SCAMMER.
My friends and family know that I don't answer calls from unfamiliar numbers. But in an urgent situation, when perhaps their phone is out, and they need to use a stranger's phone to call me, they know to call over and over in a row until I pick up. So this number called me four times in less than 30 minutes. I thought it must be an emergency, because no one would harass someone else this badly just for sales. Wrong. I almost answered, but I decided to check it here first. The caller i.d. came up as "Durnan, Thomas."
