the call actually came from a different number, but had this number in it. the other number was 916-572-2717
Got this call twice tonight, "text to landline" as well; when I pressed 1 to accept, the message relayed sounded like the same recorded voice saying "on phone" or something similarly strange.
Then, about 90 minutes later my mother-in-law called me and said she received the same call twice as well.
Got text message from 480-221-7743 "You've been subscribed to receive text messaging from OMG. Reply with 'Yes' to confirm and activate your account. Reply X to Stop Powered By TextHub."... Got it twice already, did not reply at all.
I keep getting ths caller daily. I usually hang up, but today the recorded message was some idiocy about the "inqury I made for a roomate" or some such horsepockey.
My son's phone just received a text from this number it says, "You've been subscribed to receive text messaging from demo-New Destintions-Craig Cuddy-trial. Reply with 'yes' to confirm and activate your account. Powered by TextHub
Of course I did not reply at all but had my son received this text he may have inadvertantly replied thinking it was one of his friends being funny. Or a simple Who is this? And then who knows what would show up on my cell phone bill.
Got a call from this number twice last night between 11 pm and 12 am, woke me up both times. Gave some message about text to landline and press 1 to accept. I can't remember exactly because I was half asleep.
