Indeed, this is Charter's automated call to confirm a service appointment.  If you do not answer the phone call, they automatically cancel the technician's appointment.

This is Charter. My internet is out and they were confirming the appointment to restore it for tomorrow. Not a scam. No - they don't automatically cancel the appointment if you don't answer the call. That's why they leave a voice mail!

charter communications.  I was having internet set up; calling to confirm etc.  They do call a lot, 3 calls in two days to confirm they would be showing up and then when it was completed.  Not a scam

not a scam going on you may have put a service call in,or they were given the wrong number by the person that called in

It's fuc*** Charter, if you do not pick up the call to answer of confirm your schedule appointment, they will cancel yr schedule.

I have been waiting for 3 weeks for schedule a telephone service switching. Then they cancel my order of schedule.
It's been waiting for 3 weeks.
