Just got the same text from Brandi Anderson regarding my rocking chair that is for sale on craigs list...wants me to hold the chair for her because she is out of town on work...sent me a check for more then the chair with instructions on sending the balance in a money gram to the moving company which will pick it up as soon as they get the money. SCAM !
This is a reply I got to my furniture I had for sale (verbatim):
Okay, i will pay your asking price,I am currently at work...i work at the seas as an oceanographer.Due to this i will not be able to come to do the pick up myself and pay with cash, i will pay be a check as it's the only way i can pay you at the moment,I don't mind adding an extra $30 so you can keep it in my favor, so after the check has been cashed by you i will ask my mover's to come for the pick up at your location.
I got a text from Brandi Anderson from this number wanting to buy my tv. Wanted money transferred before the check cleared! I SAID HELL NO!! Shes a scammer. She/he it. EVERYONE needs to go to their local police and file a report. I know I am. We all need to work together to get this person in jail. The checks were stole from the advanced performance company. I called the company. She also offered $30 extra to hold it. Said she was home for the holidays. I hope she rots in H*ll!
Just got a txt from Brandi Smith from this number wanting to purchase my $495 bathtub today. I replied to the txt and didn't hear back for a while so I googled the number an found this thread. Certainly sounds like a scammer. Thank you everyone for noting this on the internet!
