Just got a text from Mrs. Brandi Clemens wanting to buy a painting I listed on Craiglist. She's now a vet working on a ranch and can't come personally because there's a herd vaccination going on. Wanted to pay extra $30 by check so I can hold it for her and then she will send the movers... blah blah blah... avoid!!!
Just received a copy of text send from Ms Brandi to my college so who was trying to sell his tv because he is transferring schools. She stated that she wanted his address and name so that she could mail him a check, that she was in Fresno but would have the movers come pick it up as soon as the check cleared. He told her that she could come and see to pay cash but she never responded, but then responded when I told him to ask her to mail a bank cashier check. I saw a number of the text that he forwarded and did a google search and found this site....People need to take several seats...
TOTAL SCAM ARTIST/LIAR. THEY ARE PULLING NUMBERS OFF CRAIGS LIST ADS ALL OVER THE COUNTRY. THE # IS A GOOGLE VOICE NUMBER- THE NEW FAVORITE/ UNTRACEABLE # OF SCAMMERS AND THIEFS. I RESPONDED THAT I REPORTED HER TO SHERRIFS DEPT AND I GOT THREE AUTOMATED TEXTS BACK ASKING FOR PERSONAL INFO............WHY CANT LAW ENFORCEMENT GET HER/HIM? EVERYONE SHOULD PLAY HER GAME GET HER PHONEY CHECKS AND PROSECUTR HER [***].....
I just got a similar response from a craigslist ad from a Mrs. Brandi wanting to send me a cashiers check BLAH, BLAH, BLAH. DONT FALL FOR THIS SCAM.
