Received a call from this number, picked it up, and line was silent. Repeated "Hello!" about thirteen times and was hung up on. Received several similar calls from numerous numbers with the same outcome.
Congratulations...! Once you are on this robo calling list you will NEVER be taken off. They have called me 5 times in 3 days with various scams. You can't block the number because they use a different hijacked number each time. The last call told me that this was my last warning before I would lose my car warranty. However, "Jeff" from India couldn't tell me the make or model number of my car and actually thought that I was a different person. The federal government can put a stop to this B.S. but our politicians want to keep using the same robo calling scheme when they run for office. The technology to stop this nonsense is available but it cannot tell the difference between a politician's robo call and a scammer's robo call. Vote for anyone who promises to stop this Schlitz!
Are you aware of call blocker technology?
Have you googled/searched for "Call Blocker?
Call blockers are available as phones, apps (some free) and standalone devices.
Remember,
The Do Not Call List is NOT a call blocker!

Here are two pages of links to (mostly government) sites in Canada and the USA were you can report phone scams, or learn more about them.
First, look elsewhere on this site for an Article, entitled "Where to Report Phone Crime". (It may appear in the column to your right).
For a more frequently updated list of complaint sites, with links to government web pages, look here:
