We talked to the "do not call.gov, etc", they said their program is for 800 numbers. Our best recourse is to keep track of the numbers, dates and times, especially the phone carrier company, and talk to your local governmental representative. The more we complain to them, they will help.
Squeaky wheel gets oiled first. If you get the phone company name, as I did, I report it to them, and I have had luck in cases like this. But I do believe we have representation, and they should be accountable for something!!
Just got a call from these guys asking for my wife. I said she wasn't available and requested he leave a message ... he refused. Next time they call, I'm going to ask them to wait while I go get her ... and just leave them hanging on. If I can waste enough of their time, maybe they'll stop calling. My other plan is to hand my phone to my 4-year-old grandson and let them talk to him; they should get a kick out of that. Again, waste their time ... time is money ... if I can waste enough of it, I'm hoping they'll stop calling.
I keep getting unsolicited calls on my cell phone from the owner of phone numer 480-409-4352. When I answer, no one responds and they do not leave a message.
