I did not receive a call from these clowns, but a new variation on the Auto glass scam. Heard my doorbell ring and three 20 something individuals (two guys and a young woman were there). My wife's car had been parked in the driveway at the time, and they introduced themselves as Omega Auto Glass reps. I told them I had just lost a family member the day before and did not want to talk (which is true), but they would not give me a word in edgewise starting with how important it was to get a couple dings in my wife's windshield fixed (that had been there for years). At that point I blew up and told them they were not welcome to be walking around my property looking for business--comments for which they gave me a lot of smart mouth rhetoric. They clearly had to enter my property and inspect my wife's car before ringing the doorbell. I then proceeded to call the number below and got another wise mouthed hustler who seems to feel this way of soliciting business is perfectly fine.
I don't volunteer to walk to used car lots and don't want people acting like used car hustlers coming to me. Why anyone would want to do business with people this close to the bottom feeder level is beyond me. Our homes and property should be respected as such.
