Caller claimed my "Dunns" report was incomplete that I had signed up for on the "GRANTS.gov" website. Said I needed a background check showing on my account so others would do business with me. Said it would cost over $400 to run my background check. SCAM! Told him I didn't need it for my small business & obviously I didn't give him my credit card info or ss#.
Guy claims to be from a credit agency and needs to hear immediately from me about recent activity on my small, local business. Doesn't even know the correct name of my business, not even close. SCAM.
It's Dunn & Bradstreet (D&B) - Business Credit Rating Agency, although I like the suggestion of Diamond Brad Street above. They try to sell their services to businesses. They're not bad - they do a big job in the world of business credit, but they have some pushy salespeople working for them.
