Idiots calling about warranty on a vehicle... push 1 for more info or push 2 to get your name off a list... DO NOT PUSH ANY BUTTONS. THIS IS A SCAM. If you push a button, they will know there is a real human there, and keep calling you. Hang up and report it. ALso, make sure you are on the National Do Not Call List - www.donotcall.gov
Apparently they are calling around Ontario now too. We keep getting calls from this number - I never pick it up because I know it's just a scam. I call blocked my number and phoned it back and all it says is "Hello thank you for calling. To be put on our Do Not Call List please press 1" and then it just hangs up. Obviously I didn't press 1 because I don't want them accessing my information.
It's just a scam... I'll answer next time they call to tell them I'm going to report them because I'm really getting sick and tired of this scamming-over-the-phone crap.
How many flipping phone numbers does this scam have?? received the call but didnt pick up as I didnt recognize the number.. this is the first time this specific number has called but I have had calls from 5 other phone numbers for same scam.... It is driving me nuts!!!! I have kids who now are afraid to pick up the call incase they accidentally press numbers etc.....
The area in which this call came from would be South Street. As you approach westbound to Canal Street then north on S 2nd Street until you reach Walnut St. Go eastbound on Walnut Street to Clymer Street then head south past Perkiomen Avenue to Cotton Street then westbound on Cotton Street back to South Street in Reading, PA.
