I just recieved a call from a guy from the same number and i called back after i listen to the voice mail.. I asked what law firm they were and he hung up on me so i'm going to keep calling for fun just to be a dick
I received a messa on my cell few minutes ago threatening arrest as well in regards to not paying a pay day loan back and giving false ssn info. I told them I would be contacting the authorities and to never call me again. What is this place, they gave not name just said they were from a law firm from Pennsylvania, but I think India is more like it.!!!!
Ok so does anyone know how to make it stop? I know it's a scam but I have no idea how they got my info. And now they are harassing my job. This is not ok and I have no idea what to do): help?
They also called me telling me that my husband would be arrested this week. They would not give me any info and only told me to have my husband call immediately. I called them back and told them that I had closed my bank account (and I did) and that I reported them to the FBI. She laughed and told me that I had better save my husband and hung up on me. We are retired and living on limited funds. We NEVER applied for any payday loan - nor would we ever give out SS# or bank info to anyone - especially online. How do they get this info?
We did notice in the last month - a couple of penny ACH's coming out of our account and we immediately called the bank and had them blocked. The following week a different ACH # again took a 1 cent and then a 5 cent withdrawal. That is when we cancelled the account.
This is scarey - I have no clue how they got this info. If I hadn't googled the phone number,I would not have come upon this site and probably would have panicked.
