This man called my elderly father asking for my mother. My father told him that she had been recently deceased. The man then acted surprized and upset saying that he was so sorry to hear of her death.He claimed that he knew my mother and that she had helped him in the past. God only knows how much more of a conversation my father had with this man. My father has memory issues and was unable to tell me any more particulars about the conversation other than that they had talked quite awhile. I am highly concerned about this phone conversation!! Needless to say I have tried without success on numerous occasions to contact this caller. His phone is either busy or refuses to answer. On occasion the phone will be answered and then hung up. I tried text messaging this number but it comes back as a landline that is unlisted from the Allentown PA. area.
I get this caller all the time - multiple times a day. I live in the Reading area. I never answer unknown numbers anyway, but it has become yet another nuisance call I get that interrupts my day. It's highly annoying.
