Calls a few times a week for a debt that I have no idea about.. They claim I owe $400 for to a company that I've never even heard of before.. The say its from 2005 which again makes no sense..
RMS...a collection agency trying to get my credit card information, they want to settle an old debt from my father which passed away 10 months ago...!!...her name is Elain Johnson she is very rude over the phone, this woman seems to be a truck driver without any education...!!
This is a disreputable debt collection agency working for UPS. We have sent them statements and forms showing we paid UPS, 4 times now, and followed all their "resolution" instructions, and they insist they have never received our faxes or mailings. They aren't trying to resolve it. Their game is simple: They harass you until it's worth it to you to pay them (a second time). My guess is they then tell UPS they didn't collect, and pocket the money. I have had that happen before. We contacted UPS about this several times, sending them the information also, and proof of payment. They do not resolve it either, and they won't tell the credit agency to stop. It's very weird, we paid them on a brokerage account and have shown the items match up entirely, but again, they aren't interested, they just want to be paid twice for the same things.
